We are ISO 9001:2000 certified We supply a variety of high quality castings for many industries including; Winches, Rail Switch, Railroad Track, Railcar Parts, Heavy Truck Parts, Pumps, Valves, Petroleum and Gas, Shoes for Boilers, and much more. ![]() In the mid 60's, Robar's Waterworks division needed a supplier of good castings to meet their needs. We decided to open our own foundry, and soon realized there was a general need by others for our services. We were soon supplying castings to a variety of customers outside of our own industry. As demand increased we added machinery, metals and manpower. We still supply foundry services for our Waterworks division, but it is now a small percentage of our total castings. We pride ourselves on being a quick turnaround foundry. Automatic molding machines and mold handling equipment allow us to produce castings quickly. Our goal is to consistently provide fast production on a firm delivery date that we stand solidly behind. Our flexibility allows us to rapidly accommodate changes in your marketplace. We operate a Green Sand Foundry. The castings produced are created from an impression made by a pattern in a compacted sand medium. ROBAR is also classed as a High Production Foundry specializing in the efficient manufacture of large numbers of relatively small castings, and also cast 1 off items. We cast high performance Ductile and Grey Cast Iron, Copper and Low Alloy Steel. We also cast Stainless Steel and Copper-based alloys, and added ADI (Austempered Ductile Iron) in 2004. For more information about this high strength low weight material please contact us. While our automatic molding machines can produce cost efficient high quality runs (100,000 plus), we specialize in small to medium production runs for small to medium-sized castings.
